Adventures of the Page Masters

Oh the Horror!

( originally written September 14, 2012)

Tuesday we had a research day in the library for the Visual Analysis Project where we research artwork in the Agnes Scott College Collection and later present a presentation on it. The librarian really just showed us the library databases and how to find resources online.

It was a straightforward day but helpful none the less. I realize now how much information there is out there on my assigned artist, Barbara Kruger.

I got a little off task halfway through the class period when I started to read some of her interviews I found in the databases; she described her work and her thought processes behind them (in a general sense of her process). If I was not excited already to have Kruger as my artist, then Tuesday made me even more pumped for the project and learning about her.

But in all seriousness it was a very exciting and productive class day.
